Fifth Wheel Hitch

Hi,

Bought a different truck and need a fifth wheel hitch for it. 2018 GMC SLT 3500HD SRW with hitch prep package. Live in Canada so Trailer Saver out of the picture. Too many $$$ with exchange. Looking at Blue Ox for suspension. Trailer GVWR is 14,000 pounds. Anybody have experience with Blue Ox?

Have a friend and the local repair shop both swear by Curt. They have 2017 and 2019 Chev and GMC trucks with the factory puck system.

I have a 2019 GMC 2500 but did not have a factory puck system. I installed the Reese puck system and going with a older Reese Elite Signature Series slider that I picked up at a very good price.

I have a Curt Q20 and have had it for 10 years. Never had a problem with it. Except it is heavy. It usually stays in the truck. It is a well built hitch.

Thanks for the recommendations. Pulled this trailer for 4 years with a Reese. When looking for a new hitch for the this truck I came across this hitch and think a hitch with some suspension in it might make it easier on the trailer frame.
