Is anyone towing this unit. What does Dry Weight (6400) include? Has anyone weighed their 831FKBSS after it is loaded?
Anyone towing this unit with a half ton, does it tow well? Definitely requires a weight distributing hitch, any feedback would be appreciated.

I have a 2011 831FKBSS on order...should be in next week. On the list of things to do is take it to the scales, so, if you can wait, I will have an answer for you soon.

I will not be towing mine with a 1/2 ton. I was pulling my 2006 Rockwood 8315SS (the same floorplan without the bedroom slide) with a 1/2 ton '95 Chevy. Decided the TT was a bit much, and moved up to an Excursion. As for the hitch, I am using the Reese Dual-Cam, and have been very happy with it.

Mine is stamped dry weight of 6,907 lbs from the factory so add battery and propane and it was about 7000 off the dealers lot. Planning on first trip end of April and will be weighing it wet then.

I am towing mine with a F250 diesel PU. I would definitely recommend a Equalizer hitch, tried pulling it with a Reese hitch with just one antisway bar and it wasn't stable. Not sure of weight.
