GM 8 speed, new Tow ratings
Got an email from GM_Trucks.com announcing 2015 trucks will have new 8 speed transmission.

The 8-speed rumors are true: GM has announced that all 2015 6.2L Silverado, Sierra, Suburban, Tahoe & Yukon will come standard with a new Hydra-Matic 8L90 eight-speed

The 2015 Silverado and Sierra will have lower trailering ratings due to implementation of the SAE J2807 standard: We've got the new towing limits for the most popular 1500 pickup configurations
