GMC "x-ray" camera

Saw this on Fox news. Hope I'm not breaking any forum rules or double posting something. Looked interesting...

Yea I saw that as well and almost posted it but my mind got occupied by something else. I like how you can choose to see the inside of the camper as well if you want.

What a sweet truck. I'm sure glad they put a much more appealing nose on it vs what the chevy version has.

I normally do not post comments on GM or competitor products, but this looks very cool.

That’s a cool camera, plus a ten speed automatic transmission. Sign me up, I’ll have to start sweet talking DW. I wonder what the out the door cost is

Just found out a bummer on the camera, it only works on travel trailers and a max of 32ft long. Won’t work with fifth wheels.

I was reading about that camera too, looks like a pretty cool feature. I also read about the myGMC app where you control things in your camper. Really? If this needs to go to another thread, moderators please move. But that app mentioned in the article puzzled me. How many people actually run their generator, turn on air conditioning, or water heater in their TT while pulling down the road? I personally didn't know this was done, maybe I'm just way behind the times.

Unfortunately you can’t use it with a fifth wheel or a travel trailer over 32ft long. But it is cool

Ford's Tow Technology Package is around $1,900 and doesn't include the trailer camera. That's another $600. I'd expect GM to charge at least that much for this even better treatment. As much as I like it, I wouldn't pay $2,500 for it.

Let's just hope that somebody doesn't forget that there is a camper back there and change lanes before the camper has passes said vehicle.
