Going to start towing - summer of 2019

Have a 2011 Berkshire 390QS coach, purchased a year ago, & will be towing a 2014 Honda CRV flat. The Blue Ox Ready Brute Tow Bar has surge braking ability; does that mean I do not have to put a braking system, only lights in the CRV when towed? The coach has air brakes; that would not be an issue, would it?

I was mistaken about the manufacturer's name on the tow bar with surge brake protection. It is not Blue Ox; it is Ready Brute Elite
