Unhappy Goodyear Endurance Tires

Hi all! This is my first post as a new user.
I recently went to my local BJ'S and asked if they could install four new Endurance Tires on my 2020 Microlite 21DS. After reading on this site about the "China Bombs", I wanted to be as safe as possible and avoid any future problems. The gentlemen in BJ'S told me that they do not put car tires on trailers and flat out, refused my business. After reading all the posts about Endurance tires and how happy others were with them, can anyone tell me if they have run into this problem before. Also what is the difference between trailer tires and car tires? I made it clear that I was talking about a travel trailer and not a tow behind cargo trailer. I am sure that I can find another tire store that will install these tires, I would just like to know if anyone else has has this experience?

I would go back and ask to talk to someone that knows anything at all about tires. Then refuse there business.

Perhaps this individual thought you meant "Goodyear Endurance RSA" truck tires and didn't know about the Endurance ST tires. If he doesn't know about the latter then it's a good idea to go somewhere else.

NOTE: In the past I have known of several tire shops that will not mount truck tires on trailer wheels, or they will mount them and mark the Work Order ticket "Mounted on Trailer Wheels", which voids any tire warranty.

I suspect the tire dealer (BJ's) has no knowledge about Goodyear Endurance ST trailer tires... which... would mean you should steer clear of them anyway.

Find another dealer and you will have the opportunity to do what you are wanting to do.

The first thing I did when I bought my two trailers was replace the China bomb tires with Goodyear Endurance tires. I went to Discount Tires both times. The shop I went to has a lot of experience with trailers and I've had zero problems with my tires. I have first hand experience with a China bomb tire exploding on me on a utility trailer I was towing. Brand new trailer and I always check tire pressure, so that wasn't the problem. So now I always get rid of them immediately.
