Guidance needed for Newbie!

First, I love that everyone on this site is so kind. I remember reading "No weight police" allowed, and that made me chuckle.
We have an 08 Tahoe 5.3L (3.08 rear axle ratio) and were planning to buy an 09 Jayco JayFeather 19H EXP. We arrived at the lot, and someone had just traded in a 2008 Roo 232 which I fell in love with. The slide really makes a big difference.
It's not necessarily the weight that is my primary concern. I am concerned, however, with the short wheelbase of the Tahoe in relation to the 23 foot TT and the 4 foot storage deck. I made them manually weight the tongue weight which came in at 520lbs.
I'm looking for input from anyone who may have a similar set up. We will be using a WDH of course.
Will it be possible and SAFE to pull this long of a TT with the Tahoe considering it's short wheel base?
I really appreciate any feedback or input.

We have a friend who owns a 26 foot Sunnybrook Titan and tows it with a tahoe. We have traveled thru the Canadian Maritime provinces and around the great lakes on two trips totaling about 8500 miles without issues. I was ordered with the tow package. The 5.3 has the power to do it, but I would question the 3.08 differential. Not a great weight for towing but check the truck towing specs.,
