For my TV the conventional tow rating is 10,700 if using a WDH (weight distribution hitch). If pulling a 5th wheel the tow rating drops top 10,600.

Here is a link to Ford's 2018 guide-

You have the regular Trailer Tow package w/ the al-a-cart 36 gallon fuel tank. You do not have Max Tow or the upgraded receiver that Max Tow provides, among some other things listed in the fleet guide but not on the online specs.

Yeppers, you are correct. Not knowing if you had read all post, post #14 on page one reflects your statement as does #17.

The Ranger Lariat returned a XL trim also.

That site has some quirks that are not quite correct.....
Then stop by your Dealer service department and have them look it up. It is easy and free. They have access to the original factory information. Don't bother to ask any of the sales staff, they won't know.

I can say that you need not call Ford. I went through that last week. They can’t and won’t give any useful info. They said they leave that up to the dealerships. So I call a dealership. I have a 2016 f150. They said their records only go to 2018 but they would find out some specs for me. First one they gave me was that my payload capacity was 3200 lbs. It’s actually 2006 lbs. I wanted the weight of my truck. Thry had no clue. I don’t trust the online Ford towing charts. I don’t think they allow for a lot of truck options. For the weight I just used a CAT scale. $13 well spent. As for the true tow capacity, good luck. I would first be concerned with not exceeding your GVWR

Simple solution, just fill it up to what calculates out to about 26 gallons and you’ll feel like you’re getting better mileage.

Dont worry about it for day to day driving but towing it really comes in handy. I feel better filling up at half a tank, never know when traffic may be a problem. But I can go farther now and pace my stops to 2-3 hours or whenever bathroom breaks are called!!

Not trying to muddy the waters, but this entire discussion seems to revolve around the max towing capacity. in my opinion ( and that of other members on here) this is a marketing number designed to sell trucks. In many cases load capacity of the truck, or hitch weight capacity is exceeded long before towing capacity. I strongly recommend doing your research on these numbers and not make your decision solely on towing capacity. MHO
