Help with calculations

I've tried to run the calculations but I keep getting confused by all the numbers. Our truck is a 2004 Ford F-250 142" XL 4wd. It's a 6.0L V8. When I do a VIN lookup it shows a max trailer weight for a fifth wheel at 13300 max. The tongue weight max is 1330.

We are looking at a Salem Hemisphere 368RLBHK which shows a UVW of 10924 and hitch weight of 2080.

Can our truck pull this camper?

No.

Not enough payload. The 13,300 number is meaningless until you have satisfied the payload. If the pin weight is 2080, plus you and other people and fuel and cargo.......is about 2,400? 2,800? 3,000? I dunno.......I will strongly guess that is way above your carrying capacity. Until that number is satisfied, how much it'll pull is immaterial.

My opinion.

I find it hard to believe your 3/4 ton Ford has a payload rating of 1330. Are you sure that's not the conventional tongue weight and not the payload rating?

Where did you get this number?

If from the yellow drivers door sticker, then it should be accurate.
If not, then it may not be.
