So in an odd little twist of fate we are going to look at a 2019 Ford F-250 6.2L Lariet addition super cab truck with 8’ bed on Saturday.
The twist is I am still holding onto the 06 Tundra and trading in my 11 Ram 1500 (that we tow our trailer with).
From negotiating on-line for the new truck and trade we are about $1000 off from where I want to settle, they may be willing to give me a little more on my trade once they see it in person (it only has 59k miles on it).
The Tundra will still get used as my daily driver for as long as it will keep running, still need to bring it in and have the code read for the check engine light but for now it is running good.... let’s hope it stays that way!

!! UPDATE !!

So my ongoing CEL issue with my 06 Tundra might finally be resolved!
Since October 2018 we have spent almost $6000 chasing the CEL issues this truck has been plagued with, not to mention the amount of time it has spent in three different repair centers.
One CEL failure was for the secondary air pump, this was a definite failure and needed to be replaced.
We have replaced every sensor, valve, you name it... it has been replaced.
After every shop visit the CEL would come right back on within 1/2 mile of leaving the shop.
Finally the last mechanic that had the truck looked at all the paper work from the previous repair shops, confirmed he was getting the same exact codes and was having the same issue getting anything to work.
He finally ran a fuel pressure test because one thing that had been consistent is every report on the truck had come back that it was running lean.
Mechanic thought it might either be an injector issue or the fuel pump, turns out it was the fuel pump!
This may have been the problem all along (with the exception of the secondary air pump), not sure if any of the sensors or any other emissions items ever needed replacing.
The truck has been running great, no more hesitation, no more CEL, hopefully it will keep going for another 185k miles!

Good to hear you figured it out. Sorry to hear they couldn't figure out the pump sooner.

Congrats on finding what was causing the issue.

I'd keep it. You have probably already addressed most of the weak points. As long as it still meets your needs I'd run it to the ground.
