Husky centerline HD bent pins

I've got an HD hitch that keeps bending the pins that hold the springbars in place. Had this problem before, and Husky sent new replacement parts. This time they said setup was probably off. In both instances I've had no problems with bent pins until I had several months of use. Is this a part wear problem or a setup problem?

The pins shouldn’t take a lot force while the hitch is in use, the sockets should take it all. Do you have pictures?
