Installed my ProPride 3P today
It went well, Sean was quick to respond via email to the few questions that I had and his instructions were great. The biggest task? Moving the tank tray and cutting around some U bolts to get it mounted. If it wasn't for that I would have been done in under 3 hours.
The reason for this purchase? I had a Equalizer 4 point and was getting the push and suck with every passing semi and was pretty tense with strong winds. The others who have made this same purchase have sworn by them so I wanted to join the club and have a safer ride.
I will provide a review once I have pulled a few times.

I have a Hensley, you will wonder why you waited so long, the difference is amazing, been using it since the early nineties.

Why the ProPride over a Hensley?

Interesting..I see that your Weight distribution arms are rated for 1400 lbs. I have been told that getting those arms with a rating to much can adversely the ability to distribute the weight correctly.
Can anyone confirm or deny that getting the arms rated for too much tongue weight will adversely affect the tow?

Sean from ProPride recommended this size arm based on my camper size so I went with it...

Newer design, customer service, and cost were driving factors.

You'll love the new feel. I too stepped up from a Equal-i-zer 4 point to another, mine a Hensley.
I don't know how the 3P dials in, but I used a wireless camera pointed at the hitch head to make the final adjustments, putting the trailer directly centered on the truck.
Happy towing with the "newer designed" ultimate hitch out there.

I've been told that there is a big difference between the PP and Hensley.
I love rivalries! LOL
They both are great hitches.

Yep, I use that backup cam as well. What a treat that is to have!
Thanks guys. Bottom line is that we are all safer than we would be without the hitches that we have.

They max out at 1400lbs but how much you screw the arms can alter the spread.
