Interesting Rockwood Travel Trailer

Was cruising thru Facebook Marketplace and saw this interesting Rockwood for sale on a 44' gooseneck trailer in South Carolina.

The rear deck is 17’6” for all your toys. 50 gallon plastic drum mounted on the front for a total of 87 gallons of fresh water.

I saw something like this in Florida. They had a really tall off-road UTV thing (sorry, I'm ignorant on the names of them) that would have been too tall for most toy haulers that I'm aware of.

It was actually a pretty neat looking setup.

Most of those that I have seen have had the plumbing redone, or they are open underneath, so you can access everything. You can't solid mount those to the trailers, to much flex. They do a 3pt mounting usually on them so the trailer twist independtly of the camper. Seen several build threads for them on off-road forums.

Most people just use a truck bed camper on the front of a longer car hauler. I've also seen a 8' popup turned sideways so the door opens up to the deck and the beds pop out each side. I like the smaller setups you can actually stay up in the woods with rather than camping off the highway and driving up into the woods.
