I don't know about the manual shift but I'm pretty sure you can add a gear.

I have the Allison 5 speed, and the problem is it keeps hunting between 4th and 5th. More annoying than a problem, I guess... I do lock out the overdrive with the tow button . I just like how slick the manual option on the new dmax's are. Oh well not a big deal though. Thanks.
