Leveling 2008 sierra f255 for new 2019 F350

I take delivery of a 2019 F350 on this week, replacing my 2012 f150 TV for my 25' Sierra 5th wheel. I didn't think about the height difference (not a smart move, I know), and expect to be nose high with the new truck (it's noticibly higher, as expected). My hitch is as low as it will go, and the trailer axles are in the lowest shackle holes and are already under the spring with a spacer. Short of a new trailer, what is the best way to get everything level? It fit perfectly with my f150. Thanks

I want from a Nissan frontier to a Ram 2500 and had to use 9" drop shank to get level.

I've read where some will swap out the rear blocks for something shorter (e.g., 4" factory blocks to 2" blocks). Another guy had an entire suspension overhaul to lower his truck ... essentially the reverse of a quality lift kit. Most people seem to just shrug and live with being a bit nose high. Do some searching over at a Ford SD forum for some additional ideas.

I'd wait to see how it all comes together after you get your new F-350 ... and then go from there.

I can probably live with being nose high, as long as I don't lose my rear legs. I'm getting the hitch moved over to the new truck today, so I'll see what they have to say

Does your trailer have leaf spring axles or torsion axles?

The OP has a Sierra 25' 5th wheel. Do 5th wheel pin boxes use a drop shank?

F-350 SD

You might check w/ Lippert if they have a lift kit for your 5 th. wheel frame after trying w/ new truck. I also have a new SD F-350. Currently pulling a TT but, planning to switch to 5 th. wheel in the future. Will be following to see what works for you.

justpassinthru, it does, but not enough to help . It can only go down 1 inch and the pin can go up 2, but than I have less than 6" clearance between the top of the box, and the trailer.

I have an F350 4x4 diesel. This and last 5er were at 4 3/4 to 5” and never a problem. Next week my new dually arrives and not sure what I’ll get into for heights either.

I am running in 4x4 Dually. I know I am longer and heavier but I tow pretty level. Even though the payload is near double on the Dually than on my swd I felt I squatted just as much. I actually use aircells to stay up higher in rear

No need. Leaf spring setups can be towed unevenly, although it's not necessarily recommended.

The hitch shop was able to get it almost perfect by adjusting the hitch on the truck, and the king pin. Thanks everyone for your info.
