Looking at new trailers

Looking at a new tt bunk house. How much better is the newer trailer for wind and buffering from truck wake. Is the stream lines help on fuel. Realy buy for the pop out and queen bed.

you won't notice much change over a non-streamlined TT. truck wake won't be any different. frontal air resistance might be a little batter, but not much.
and your gas mileage may improve a fraction, probably not noticeable.

Slower speed will be the largest factor for added fuel mileage! The shape is for looks and clearance unless you are trying to set a Land Speed Record! Then your Fuel mileage is shot anyway! Youroo!!

I towed a new fun finder from the dealer to the cg for some friends last fall.
Handled great no problems behind my 2500 hd, as I would expect

I'm wanting to upgrade for room for raining days. But would like to help with performance of the trailer on the high way. The wind sets my speed on my long trips. But the trucks after they pass and get in front a 100 yards in front and still in the fast lane causes a change in the handing of the step up. So would like to help that. Thanks for all the help.

you're mistaken about no real difference.

the Fun Finder has filon walls with an aluminum frame construction.

the Cherokee is a "stick n tin" construction, meaning wood frame and aluminum siding. that's why it's so much cheaper than the other one.
"stick n tin" RV's are usually lower tier or entry level RV's.

I Do not recommend a Cherokee wolf pup. I may sell mine for 2 cents. Can not put very much in the unit or it will be over weight. Only get one thousand miles out of the tires. It has to much Negative camber. Can not get any help from Susquhanna RV in Selinsgrove or Forrest river co.

I was going to recommend you look at the Coachmen Catalina series....they have a couple bunkhouses but they don't appear to have one that meets your towing criteria.
http://www.coachmenrv.com/product-details.aspx?LineID=61&ModelID=255#Main

They are stick/tin and wouldn't call them entry level but they are lower on the that scale. For the price point, I think they are a good bargain and fits our needs, usage and budget! We've been really happy with our 303RLS and it tows great...I do 60 and hardly notice being passed by trucks on the interstate. There have been only very minor issues (loose screws, etc) that I've taken care myself and hopefully we will continue to have "good luck" with the reliability!

Good luck in your search!
