Mail-order source for chain?
Hello. Having installed a Propride P3 on my Mini-Lite 2507S, I need to extend the safety chains by 1'. I thought I found the right material at Lowe's but it was rusting within 24 hours. Can someone direct me to a galvanized product I can buy online? I need 2 x 1', precut. Everything I found at Home Depot or Lowe's is not galvanized.

You'd probably be better off buying a safety chain that is the length you need rather than trying to add a chain to it.
Try etrailer.com. Their site gives both length and towing weight.
Edit: Posted at the same time as the person above.

On my trailer there was no way to remove and reattach the safety chains. I did manage to pull them off the trailer when fastening them outside the P3 once...don't do that. I had to find a mobile welder to weld them back on in different places on the frame instead of the Micky mouse common connection at the bottom of the tongue FR did.
For your chain problem propride does sell an extension kit which is what I used. I did not need the electrical extension.

Etrailer is also good and if you call them it's even easier to get help.

The kit Sean sells is $50. I need only the chain so I'd be paying (effectively) $25/ft for two feet of chain. Also, I read somewhere that what he supplies is lighter that what is already on the Mini-Lite.
I cannot tell if what I see online on Home Depot and Lowe's is the same chain as what comes in the trailer, and I want it precut. Other than a hacksaw, I don't have a way to cut it myself and I already have the necessary double-Clevis connector links. It's easy to disassemble and reassemble those to extend the original.
I'll call eTrailer and discuss with them.

You can also try Buyers Products and anyone that sells TexTrail/Nuera Trailer Supplies.
I've bought trailer related items from both and found them reasonably priced.
I bought two complete safety chains w/hooks for about $15 about a year and a half ago from a TexTrail dealer.

Our Tractor Supply has gav chain and links to add more chain. Used them on last trailer, also had to swap out hooks as the ones from FR were to small to connect to the GMC HD I had at the time,

Chain
If you have a Tractor Supply Company near by, you can get a piece of piece of chain and connectors to fit needs. Get the med to higher grade of chain. Maybe cheaper, no shipping and you get exactly what you need. I found the premades were too short for my needs.

West Marine or Ace Hardware would probably have it locally. Galvanized chain is used for boat anchor ropes between the anchor and the anchor rope. I have seen it at both stores in Florida. If you have a Tractor Supply store locally, they may also have what you are looking for. Any of those places have it in bulk, cut to length.

A boat dealer would have it.

We have a Tractor Supply nearby. I didn't think of that. They'll be my first stop. If they don't have it (they probably do) I'll hit the Ace Hardware across the street from them.

I couldn't find hot-dipped galvanized chain at Tractor Supply or Ace Hardware. In the end, I bought it at e-rigging.com:
