Maybe a dumb Question...

I just got a new Husky Centerline WDH.
Already I am seeing surface rust appear on the bars an mount on trailer.
What's the best plan of action on this? I know don't let it rust!
So does anyone have plan of action to keep this clean an rust free?

I would sand and repaint my hitches every winter. I used a flat black primer made specifically to bind to rust as touch up paint during a camping season.
