Mirror extensions - Toyota Highlander

I loved the custom mirror extensions for my F-150, but we have downsized to a Toyota Highlander. Unable to find mirror extensions that work. Any Highlander owners have luck finding a set?

CIPA makes some nice vehicle specific extension mirrors. I have this style on my Silverado and am very pleased. Did a 3,200 mile trip this winter and never once had to readjust them.

Mirror extensions - Toyota Highlander

This is what I use on Chevy traverse. Work great. Minimal vibration when driving. I usually adjust after a fuel stop or stop along the way just to make sure they are tight. They use a ratchet system and adjust easy. I think you will like them.

I just bought custom fit F150 towing mirrors. By "custom fit," I simply mean that they were specifically designed for the F150. If you can't find those for the Toyota Highlander, then you have to go with a universal fit mirror.

I bought one of these to use with a Ford Explorer. It really worked great for 5 years. It wasn't perfect, of course, but I liked it and it was durable.

I liked how it mounted, too.

Speedfix Mirrors for Highlander

We have a 2013 Highlander. We're using the SpeedFix Towing Mirror
Catalog Item # 85053 from Camping World. They stay where you put them and have great visibility.

They were about $50 each when I bought them.

The ones I use on my Silvarado are just the clip on with the rubber straps, they stay on and are easy to put on and off. They are cheap so if one was to fall of I'm out $15. They do shake at hwy speed, but no vibration noise. Even though they shake on the hwy you can easily see other cars.

these mirrors work on my Highlander

I've used these mirrors on my 2014 Highlander for 4 years and they've worked fine. They are steady enough and wide enough to see past my 2015 Mini-light 1906 trailer. And they've held up for 30-60 days travel each year.

I have a pair of Prime 30-0083 XLR dual head Mirrors that I'll sell you for $20 plus shipping. Here is a link https://www.amazon.com/Prime-Product.../dp/B002P4E4Z6

We used them on our Grand Cherokee one season, about four trips. I now have a RAM truck and we don't need them.
