Motorhome towing

Was at Walmart this AM and saw a Discovery parked which had a pickup hooked to it with a towbar and a side by side ATV in the bed and hooked to the pickup with a towbar was a Jeep. Is that legal? Some states allow two being towed as long as they are different hitch types, but not sure about two towbars. Comments please.

Triple towing is legal in some states. There's usually an overall length limit. However, I also think that you can't two two things with towbars. Usually triple towing is a pickup with 5th wheel, and then a tow bar for 3rd item.

There are lots of folks smarter than me on this subject whom I'm sure will weigh in shortly. In the meantime, do a search for "triple towing" and you'll find a lot of past threads.
