My new to me TV

I recently asked questions about and solicited opinions about LBZ Duramax engines and several trucks. I really appreciate all the answers and opinions. I learned a lot and, I think, it helped me avoid some lemons. After several false starts I am driving my new to me rig home. I had to go to Michigan to get it. A 2007 GMC 2500HD classic design LBZ extended cab, standard bed, 4x4, with 127k miles, SLE1 trim with towing/camper package. Almost just what I wanted. (I think the odds of finding a good LBZ extended cab, long bed are probably right up there with winning the lottery). It has been de-badged, though, which I don't like. I'll have to re-badge it when I get home.

This truck is solid. No body rust anywhere and minimal (almost zero) undercarriage rust. A few cosmetic issues but nothing serious - - less than $500 to fix altogether. It already has almost all of the mods I am/would be interested in - - EGR delete, 4" MBRP exhaust, PCV reroute, upgrade to LT265/75R16's, and a tune for economy/tow which added the exhaust brake (or is that the compression brake? whichever - I can never keep them straight). The only thing left is to add a lift pump.

I am most of the way to Texas to visit my sister and so far - - from central Michigan to just south of Little Rock - - this rig is purring and roaring along with never a hick-up. Gas mileage so far is 20.355 mpg (735 miles and 36.108 gallons of fuel). I am sure I got a good one. I am very happy. Thanks to everyone who helped.

Actually, I’m rather partial to the de-badging on that truck!
