A 3/4 ton for sure.
No 30’ trailer should be pulled by a Toy.

My case the installers are 12 to 25 miles. I have only used them for Information in the past but considering a purchase of a set for our F250 275/60/20. Free shipping.

I ran KO2s on my previous F150 and they were great. Upgraded to my Chevy 2500 and now have Nitto Ridge Grapplers and they are definitely the best tires I've run on a truck. Offroad look with highway comfort.

If I were to keep the Tundra, BFG KO2 would be the tire for me...had them once and got 70K miles off them and they worked great in all instances.

This is why I read forum almost every day, I have no doubt you felt your Tundra didn’t have what it takes for the Texas hill country. While I bragged about how my Tundra chewed up the Rockies, Cascades, and the Sierras not to mention the hill country. Two peopl two different points of view that are both correct.

I think NM Wildcat mentioned Cooper Discoverer tires. If there is a Pep Boys near you they sell those plus the Cooper Adventurer. Basically the same exact tire with a different name, less expensive, with a 60,000 mile warranty.

We run them and have no complaints

I think we are going to go with the Michelin LT275/70R18. I know someone that pulls a 5th wheel across the country with them and has never had an issue with hills, wet conditions etc. Also said they lasted a long time. He told me he's been through 2 sets now and wouldnt change the brand.

Mark me down as another anti Michelin guy. Got treated really badly on 2 sets. They AIN’T gonna get a 3rd. Sidewall rot in 2 years, claimed it was “ozone”, therefore, not covered. However, there was a settlement on those tires, and since I could not provide the ACTUAL receipt, Michelin wold not honor it. Despite having my charge card info. So, Despite being a loyal user for over 40 years, they lost my business.

I have a 2015 Tundra and pull a Rockwood 2706ws, I went with the Falken Wildpeak AT3 and they are super quiet, 10ply, ride smooth, and have the 55,000 mile warranty, the truck feels far more stable coming from the stock Michelin LTX tires.

check out a brand called IRONMAN, inexpensive and appear to be good tires; i have put them on several cars and all around on my motor home.

Tires

I have 14' Tundra and pull a 26dbh grey wolf which actually is 30' hitch to tail. Ive been running the general grabber atx for a year. Load E 10 ply, great mud and snow tire. Was great this past memorial day to get through the mud on my site. Get a trd rear sway bar, front and rear timbrens and you'll be fine. Just keep the new trailer under 6k lbs dry and your good, anymore and you'll be pushing limits once loaded. Definitely make sure your weight distribution is good and she'll tow like a dream. A standard tractor trailer combo loaded is nearly 80k lbs. And guess what, the tractor in that combo only weighs 17k to 18k lbs. leaving 60k lbs to pull. Curb weight on the Tundra is 5200 to 5500, your going to be fine pulling 7k to 8k loaded.
