new to site and looking for a few answers to a few question before i buy a pop up

i am looking at buying a 2008 flagstaff 176 SD LTD and was wondering if any one had and pros and cons of this pop up. another quetion was what kind of hook up dose it take to tow it is it just a round plug for the trailer lights and indicaters or dose it take a brake controller to pull this pop up any help will be appreciated thank u

Can't remember for sure, but things changed a few years ago, and any trailer weighing over 2,000 pounds has to have electric brakes. This even includes tow dollies, since they will go over the limit when a vehicle is on them. Count the connections in the plug, if it is more than 4, then it probably has brakes, and yes, to be safe, you will need a brake controller, and the necessary wiring to go with it.
