New, to us, truck
First trip today for the , new to us, 2015 Ford F250 crew cab, with 44K miles we bought on Monday. I have now towed with a 3/4 ton Dodge, Chevy, and Ford. Ford is by far the most stable. As for throttle response and power, Ford is a.little better than the other two. With the Hensley Hitch and F250, like driving a Cadillac! Weighed today as well. About 12% tongue weight with 900Lbs reserved truck weight and 1600Lbs GCW. The TT is 2" high in the front. I have a adjustable stinger that I will set up for.next trip.

My favorite truck. I may be biased Did you go diesel or gasser? Either one is a solid platform.

Gas. Hard to justify the extra cost up front, in fuel, and possible repairs for the 6 or so trips we make a year. Also, this is now the back up truck for our landscape business and one day the primary truck. Gas is better for the stop and start of a lawn route and quieter for the middle of the night plowing.

Nice truck. The lighting is a little dark, is that the Ruby Red? That is an awesome color. Congratulations. You are going to love that truck the more you drive it.

Yes, Ruby Red. We love it already. Much more stabile feel when towing. With the Hensley hitch and the F250 feels like driving a Cadillac!

I really like that Ruby Red. I was torn between that and the Cowboys...errrr, Blue Jeans Blue I ended up with. I left it up to my wife, and blue it was. I'm happy with it though.
Enjoy the truck (I know you will), and hope to see you down the road!
