Nice, you won't regret trading up!

The power, quiet and reliability of the new diesels (all of them, in my opinion) is remarkable! They all pull effortlessly!

Yea I did the same thing. I sold my Toyota Tundra and bought a 2016 Silverado 2500HD 6.6L Turbo Duramax. I love Toyotas but plan to do a lot of traveling and was not sure my Tundra would hold up. My Tundra pulled my 5er just fine. I'll be hooking up my FW tomorrow.

Enjoy the truck. I've got a '16 Chevy Z71. Same thing minus the bling. I love it. Started this "hobby" with a Tundra as well. I much prefer this truck. This is my daily driver and love driving it for grocery runs as much as I do towing. Have fun.

Z71 isn't a truck. It means you got skid plates and 2 stickers.

Thanks for setting me straight, but I needed people on the web who couldn't see my stickers to know that I had some sweet skid plates.

Actually I'd meant to write LT Z71. Wasn't needed I guess, but just including a descriptor.

The Z71 package gives you the following features:
Rancho Brand Shocks
Hill Descent Control
Underbody Transfer Case Shield
Recovery Hooks
High Capacity Air Cleaner
Eaton Heavy-Duty Automatic Locking Rear Differential
Brushed Metal Sill Plates
18” or 20” Wheels
All-terrain Tires

It's a liiiiiittle more than stickers & skid plates....
