Eco boost not up to the task at hand? Great replacement TV I might add. Gotta love a Duramax!

the ecoboost was ok , but for longer haul's i thought this would be much better, i was supposed to pick it up today BUT there was a recall that came in yesterday at 2 , and they thought they would go ahead and do it , but today when they went out to start it there was NO dash function , the recall was on the odometer

Must be common. My father in law's 2500 had to get a new instrument panel a few years ago. He had to buy his.

Not common for the dash to fail as I have never heard or read, or talked to anybody that has had one fail, but the new trucks have tons of electronics and they do fail time to time, because they are assembled by humans with robot help and the engineers do get it wrong sometimes

this is not a picture of a 2015. It is the body style of 2012-2014

Could some 2015 3500HD's still have the older body style?

Dad's truck was black. His friend striped it with bright lime green and purple. It looked really cool.
You can see a bit of the green lines

Nice truck! All makes have their issues with them. I also went from a 1/2 ton to a 1 ton diesel and love it, especially on the long trips. Enjoy!
