New Truck

2020 was a rough year for my camping plans. My 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 died back in August. Threw a valve or valve seat. Anyway, too expensive to repair. Sold it "as is" for $2000, and started shopping. Found a 2015 Silverado 1500 with only 89K miles on it. Belonged to a friend was thinking of trading in. Did a test tow and was very pleased. What an improvement over the old truck. If you read my posts, the Dodge was where most of my issues were. So, I've updated the profile pic and will get a picture with the trailer attached as some point. Meanwhile, we have already booked three state park trips to get 2021 off to a start.

Congrats on the new truck. Sounds like you found a good one. Of course it isn't real without pictures. Let us know how it goes after you trips.

I remember your posts about your truck. Good luck on the new truck! And I agree, pics or it didn’t happen.

Ah, there you go. I'm not a big fan of the chubby cheeks of that run of Chevy's, but that's a nice looking truck. I bet it's quite a step up from the old Dodge.
