Very true. They keep growing taller and bigger. It creates real problems for those that tow. Lots of posts here (fewer at the truck-specific forums, but they're there) about geometry and the trucks being too high.

For the 2020 Super Duty models, Ford has lowered them between 1/2 - 1" (vs the 2017-19 models), depending on options/configuration. So, Ford at least has realized that it needs to dial this back to make a more usable truck. Definitely has been met with mixed feelings at the Ford forum.

Unless you like the height of the truck, you can look around and find a lowering kit that will lower the rear of the truck 3" and the front 2". That's what we did when we bought the one we have now. That won't get you all the way to where you need to be, but it'll get you a lot closer.
