New TV
I sent the old dodge down the road. For my military retirement present to me, I picked up a 2018 F250 with a 6.2L. I know it won't pull as hard as the old diesel but it will get the job done. Doesn't have the factory 5th wheel prep, got a rail kit in the garage to put on tomorrow. Guess I'm a Ford guy now.

Just remember, when you start having problems, they've already circled the problem on the grill for the techs.
Joking aside, it's a very sharp looking truck.

Thanks. I drove them all before deciding on the Ford, they are all very nice riding and comfortable with tons of features. What a difference 13 years makes when compared to my '05.

I’m really wanting a Chevy 2500/3500 with the 6.0. What made you choose the Ford over the others?

Chevy was a close 2nd. The ford seems beefier. The Chevy rode like a Cadillac but the Chevy had the least tq and hp numbers. Mostly it came down to the deal. Both dealers cut their price but Ford crushed Chevy with my trade ($5k difference)

Gotcha. Money talks for sure!
I found it interesting while watching some towing comparisons on YouTube that even though Chevy had the lower towing numbers on paper that in the real world tests it actually “out towed” the others in times. I’m sure either way you’ll enjoy it and have a great towing experience.

Congrats!! I love Ford trucks and I have had them all over the years. I got a very nice 2015 GMC sitting in my yard that was my brother's before he died and I am trying to sell it for his wife. Have fun!

Congrats and enjoy. I wish people would keep the idiotic comments on Brand to themselves, unless someone asks.

Thanks.
Don't take the negative comments seriously. I equate it to a group of guys standing around a campfire, drinking beer and talking ***** to each other.

I guess. It seems inappropriate to me to try and rain on someone's parade when they get a new truck with a comment about the Brand. Don't think it's "funny", more like annoying. Anyway, good luck and enjoy your truck.

Not sure about the 6.2 since I've never researched or driven one but I have a 2017 Ford 6.7 and love the beast. Great looking truck you will enjoy it I am sure.

Some people just lack the ability to laugh and have fun. I pity them.

Of COURSE it's not funny.
Well, unless you own a GMC and can laugh at everyone else from your high perch of awesomeness.
