? on towing

Hello, my wife and I are considering by a salem cruise lite 281qb, it has a uvw of 5438lbs and I have a few questions on towing it. I have a 2013 Ford F-150 stx 4x4, it has the 5.0 motor and a 3.55 rear end. I just wanted to make sure that it wasn't going to be to much weight after it is all loaded down with our stuff. the dealer said it should be fine but I know the dealers will sometimes say anything to make a sale. thanks in advance!!!

Think it would tow it okay. But like flybob asked, where do you plan on towing?

You should be good with the right hitch and setup. The 5.0 coyote is strong, but it likes to Rev.

How do you know when the salesman is lying? His lips are moving!

Without more info, i would say you are just about your max, before we got our Ram 1500 5.7, we towed a similar weight TT with or Ram 4.7 with no problems, but never got into the hills with it.
