Popping and Squeaking Hitch

I've been pulling a Rockwood 2109s using a Blue Ox hitch for about three years. Never had any issues with it being noisy.

On my last camping trip a couple of weeks ago after hitching up, I noticed that there was a lot of popping and squeaking. I have always pulled the anti sway chain up to the 8th link.

What is the most likely reason for the noise? Does something need a little grease?

My first thought is have you changed how you loaded the rig meaning maybe less tongue weight then before which under certain conditions would allow the stinger to move slightly and make noise. I will get some movement (noise) from mine when driving in very curvy roads at highway speeds.
