We have been all over this summer and have a big trip planned coming up in a couple of weeks.
Bridgeport CA on our way to Bishop CA
This is a park in Doyle CA that we always seem to stop at when we are drive north heading to Northern CA. It's a good break point for the kids

Just got back from a trip to Mount Rushmore and the Black Hills, Badlands, Rock Mountains, St. Louis, and back home to Ky. This was when we were stopped in the Badlands. An awesome trip!

I know St. Louis looks a lot like the Badlands.... We were on the road about 3500 miles. If you've never been out that way, go!

Quick stop at rest area for lunch and leg stretch on a 7 hour road trip to the lake. Snapped a quick pic.
The diesel Jeep Grand Cherokee averaged 18 mpg on the way there and 16.5 on the way back fighting a good headwind.
