Like dlfarley, I just added a set of towing mirrors to the Tundra and will toss the strap-on version in the dumpster (it vibrated too much and tried to fly off halfway back to NC). These new extendable mirrors are better than my OEM heated power mirrors as they have all those features and also have marker lights and turn signals in them -- cost $108 each on Amazon.com. Took 25 minute each to install.

Sweet setup, how far are you from Goldsboro, N.C. I use to live there?

Hi again Wool33,
Its 34' long/7700 lbs. Truck is 1/2 ton (2.7 Ecoboost, 4X4 Supercrew, 3:55 with tow package). I fly for work every week and just sat with one of the top engineers from Ford. I asked about my little powerhouse engine. He responded he can drive any Ford he wants (part of his compensation) and he drives the exact truck (only difference is he chose the extended cab) and the same 2.7 engine....

Hendersonville is about 320 miles west of Goldsboro, in the mountains just south of Asheville. I drive through Goldsboro en route to my daughter's home near Emerald Isle.

Much cheaper then paying someone to put graphics on both. DW always wanted a matching Truck and trailers.

Where do you winter camp? I would probably be open to try In Jasper or banff, but can't get over the thought of a seven hour drive across the province on a slushy highway. That would get into everything on the camper.

I random/boondock off of the forestry trunk road and oil field/logging Roads. And yes I carry tire chains. But a good place to try would be Maclean Creek if you are in southern Alberta.
