Ford guy here too but what is your payload and pin weight? Unless it has max payload you are probably over.

Dry weights for suckers! That thing hasn't weighed dry weight since it came off the the assembly line (and not even then!).

What's your GVWR?

I bet that takes a little practice to get down the driveway! Impressive.

I went from a 27' TT to that beast. Took me several tries to back it in. The camp host took mercy on me and talked me through it. It was definitely different.

Yep it had been a while since I backed up a trailer. The dealership had an attached campground that was mostly empty so I backed into several different sites to get the feel of the new rig.

No way around having a spottter when backing into the 12' space at the storage facility. I have to come in at a right angle. Sometimes I'm lucky and get it on the 2nd backup. Other times it will take 4 or 5. Only about 35' from where the nose is supposed to be and the building in front.

Yes I am. I had a Kenwood 480 installed in my class A with a screwdriver antenna on the back.

Installed Airlift air bags as well.

the new trailer weighs ~100 lbs more than our old bunkhouse.

Airbags are the best choice ( in my opinion) for a level tow. I added helper springs to my 2500 which makes it equivalent to a 3500. Fine when towing BUT harder more bouncy ride around town.

Heading east on the North Cascades Highway in WA. This was the maiden voyage and the 170 mile drive took us from 8ft to 5477ft above sea level.
