Your time will come. Plan for it. At 21 I started planning to retire at 55. I was a few months short of 55 and that was over 14 years ago. If I can anyone can. Best of luck and stay warm.

I'm with you on that one. I'll be 55 in 4.5 years. That's when I'll be retiring. I'll have 37 years with the company I work for

I thought Cardinals were like the Cedar Creeks, real heavy?

Thanks, the full paint is what sold me on the unit! They are heavy but also well built! I don't care about weight, my ford has no issues going down the highway at 75mph! I think dodge and Chevy owners worry about weight! That will get some feathers ruffled!!

Yea the hit is all the way down and the pin box is clear to the top. Still has about a 4 inch difference front to rear. Haven't towed it yet. Headed to Death Valley this weekend. May end up putting blocks under the springs to raise the trailer. Looking for input.

Seeing more of that this year. Maybe hitch builders need to make a hitch that has a 2"-4" lower adjustment. I may keep my 2016 F350 longer than planned. Even 2" high over 43' is noticeable.

I wouldn't think a lower hitch would help. Wouldn't you run an increased risk of hitting the bed with a lower hitch?
I would think the ideal solution would be to either lower the vehicle or raise the camper.

I lowered my hitch. Still have over 6 inches clearance from bed rail to lowest point on the trailer. I have the puck system hitch. I think that adds about 1 1/2 inches in height to the hitch. Looking at raising the trailer 2 inches. Looking for input on that option.

Cape Hatteras KOA. It's a nice campground. We prefer the bigger campgrounds in Myrtle Beach, but this was nice for a weekend getaway.

I too prefer the sound side and generally stay in Frisco Woods at the OBX. Stayed in Myrtle many times and now live just minutes away. If I wanted to stay on the beach it would be at Myrtle Beach Travel Park. We have friends here now and prefer quieter so they are at Willow Tree in Longs SC, about 20 minutes from Cherry Grove Beach (North Myrtle) and Ocean Isle and Sunset beach in NC about 25 minutes.
