I went from a 2012 F150 to a 2019 F350 and the difference was amazing. You will like the power of the powerstroke diesel.

I used to tow a 17’ tt with an Envoy, and averaged 12.5 mpg. Keep it in 3rd, even at highway speeds and your mileage might increase.

Mine was 6-9mpg, I drove 1/2 way in 3rd, then switched to 4th while watching the trans fluid temp (3.73 gears). It held at 215°, only engaged 4th on flat roads, and only engaged TCC on down grades. It knew, just as I did, it was towing!

My Envoy was an 06 as well. Fully loaded, it was a pretty nice vehicle. It did know the 17 ft’r was back there, but I wouldn’t hesitate to tow it anywhere.
We wanted a slightly bigger tt, so we bought a F150 3.5 eco boost. Towed the 17 ft’r once to trade it in. I instantly knew what people meant when they said “didn’t know it was back there”.
One thing I did with the Envoy was to add an auxiliary trans cooler. I didn’t have a trans temp gauge, but never had a single trans issue, and I put on a lot of towing mileage.

I was pulling it with a titan xd gas burner which did great but we upgraded to the 350 in anticipation of getting a fifth wheel. Can’t wait to get it in the highway.

The thing is a beast. But now its more of a Thoroughbred instead of a draft horse. It'll out pull the Ram by a good margin, but it's very hard to keep temps down. Gotta drive with one eye on the road, and one eye on the EGT's. It's got the power to pull my camper up any hill at just about any speed short of ludicrous. It's just a matter of if you want to melt the crowns off the pistons doing it... You definitely don't want to use cruise control
And BTW, diesel Exy's never got 4.11 gears. they are all 3.73.

New truck. Took delivery on My 1st. I much prefer the 18's body style to the 19's and up. Although they're growing on me now. The trailer is also new just purchased a lil over a month ago.

I hope you meant you were 'getting' ready to go... or 'almost' ready to go.
I see the awning open, an air compressor under the trailer, blocks under the landing gear... not quite ready to go.
PS... just a little fun with the way words are written!
