You will be fine wool33, mine weighs 7855 dry and my truck is rated at 9700. Plan to buy some gas though lol. I got 7.4 to 8.8 mpg with alot of wind at 60 to 65 miles per hour.

I plan on buying a lot of gas. Lol. This is actually me and my family's first time going camping. I sold my boat to get the camper, cause wife and daughter didn't like going on the boat

Yep, that 'Land Yacht' will expose you and yours to a lot more sights than the 'Lake Yacht', and probably better MPG (engine hrs. PG) lol

Thanks! We love the V-Cross. For a 40 footer, its only 12K fully loaded so pretty lightweight. The truck barely knows it's back there on the highway.

Hey camping,. I like the color scheme a lot. The way the brownish hue at the bottom blends in on both vehicles is great!

Here's mine. As of last night, she's got true-blue, vertical towing mirrors.

Here is my new trailer and my faithful 2007 Toyota Tundra in front of Wana RV in Indiana on the day I picked the trailer up -- March 15, 2017. Trailer and TV details follow the pictures.
Like dlfarley, I just added a set of towing mirrors to the Tundra and will toss the strap-on version in the dumpster (it vibrated too much and tried to fly off halfway back to NC). These new extendable mirrors are better than my OEM heated power mirrors as they have all those features and also have marker lights and turn signals in them -- cost $108 each on Amazon.com. Took 25 minute each to install.
