The 274DBH is 31'8" coupler to bumper. Every time I see that pic I think I need a much bigger truck

Me too. The first time I hooked up to our 274 I thought "well I guess we're getting a 2500" but it honestly tows quite well.

At least a bigger parking space.

I know a lot of people here get worked up by the so called weight police but sometimes I think it it just may be justified. Like yesterday when some dinky SUV went by pulling a rather large TT and my 9 year old daughter said, "Dad, that can't be safe." Too bad it wasn't a few days earlier, the driver would have had a great view of the eclipse!

I agree to a degree for the obvious but the bickering over 200#s is silly.
But the other day on our return we saw same scenario as you. The back end was slammed to the ground and the SUV was stuffed full of cargo. The trailer was a rental! They were clearly overloaded and travelling at times in excess of 75 mph. [emoji33]

Here is our Shamrock 23IKSS being towed by our newly acquired 2016 Lincoln Navigator. 3.5 twin turbo and 4.10 gears make this thing a sweet TV. Plently of room and weight capacity. So much better than my previous TV Chevy Avalanche.Click image for larger version

My wife sent me a CL ad for a big 5th with a big slide. It claimed 1/2 to towable, and she questioned it. Good girl....

I was thinking the same thing but went through the mountain passes a few weeks ago.
Nicely.
Even though the grades were long and the outside temp was over 30. I knew on paper it could do it.........
Saw a lot that weren't towing, steaming along the side of the pass.

Definitely don't want to be one of those guys! One of the things I loved about the new truck is all temps and pressures you can watch on the evic. Hopefully mine will do well in the mountains too.
