FWIW... haven't had a Slide hitch on my last 2 36ft. 5th wheels. Towing with a short bed GMC over 50 thousand miles and no problems.

I have only needed it once on my last 2 5th wheels. For small light 5ers LCI pin box to 15K is longer than those with larger 5ers with a 19K pin box. Even 6-10" makes a difference back there.

Do not let the size fool you. I have a 16 Colorado and is rated to tow 7,000 Lbs. Today's trucks are very capable vehicles. Also, TT modern construction are lighter in weight.

Mine would have loved the red. She is a UL Lafayette alum and would have put a Ragin Cajun sticker on each side.
