The Correct Track system is made and authorized by Lippert. Some of the higher end 5ers already come with them. And they bolt on so you can always go back to stock.
It's a way more practical, affordable, and easier option than messing with your truck or buying a whole new Sidewinder like someone else mentioned.

My 14 Ram 3500 DRW 4x4 is just fine with the Chaparral... 6" of bed clearance above the bed rails. Using a B&W hitch. The nose of the trailer is 1" higher than the rear, but over 40' it's really not even noticeable. Pulls great.
Perhaps the 2500 is taller than the 3500?

How much does this raise the 5R? The literature doesn't say.

It will raise it about 2". They give you that clue in step #5.

I see. I didn't read the installation instructions. I was looking for that info in general description.

No worries. Actually I thought it had said it on the website but couldn't find it so I posted the above page of instruction.

I don't think it will make or break it. I've camped on sites where my lower step has been on the ground and others where I needed to put the step stool outside because of the drop off.

Don't think 2" is worth the effort, plus now a line up shop will be necessary.....but, it's not mine, and good luck......It'll still be nose high..

I am in the same situation. Bought a 2016 F350 to pair with my 295RST. Came from my F-150HD. I am looking into the correct track. I am also swapping out the slider for stationary on my Reese hitch. Since I have the puc system in my truck I was forced to use the Reese adapter to be able to keep my hitch. I run about 5" nose high. I do have the option of lowering my truck unlike you but I am not going that route.
I will get about 2" with the correct track and that will help but I will still be nose high. That said running like this has not been an issue. I know I will wear my rear tires faster and will keep an eye on it. No stability issues to speak of thus far.
You can also have someone fab up a box frame to raise the rig a few inches. Not something I want to do as I would likely have to add a quad step.
Let me know what you decide. I have spoken to a few others with the same issue when moving up to an oil burner 4X4 towing a mid-profile.

I know a women named Debbie that you remind me of.
Anyone considering this: Don't get discouraged. If you can read increments on a tape measure you can align a trailer yourself with the kit. This kit is perfect for anyone looking to add some clearence and/or if you're getting uneven tire wear and want to align it. If you can handle a jack, and 3/4" wrench you could do this in your driveway in a day. Many trailers already have most of the holes drilled for it already so drilling a couple of holes isn't all that bad. I don't see it as much effort. There are also videos on it just do a search.
Or you could purchase a kit and have the shop do it.
Good luck with your choices.

Above you stated concerns of effort applied. Far more effort lowering a coil sprung truck plus the added costs, adding in the opportunity for negative effects such as driveline vibrations, voiding the warranty, less of a gain without lowering the entire truck (more effort & cost) just to name a few.

Lowering the truck may be more expensive and more effort etc. etc., but then end result makes it worth it in my opinion.
Raising the trailer...
higher center of gravity
all jacks/stabilizers will need to be extended an extra "X" number of inches each and every time you unhook/set up
the steps will forever be "X" number of inches higher off the ground
I simply don't like the look of a raised trailer
Lowering the truck...
lower center of gravity
easier entry and exit
the bedrails on modern trucks are already too high in my opinion...easier to reach in and grab stuff if lowered
modern trucks look ridiculous (in my opinion) with the 42 some odd inches of clearance between the top of the tire and the fender lip.
I will admit though...there are times when I wished my sewer connection was a couple/few inches higher off the ground.

Not my issue but why not just scrap the bed (or sell it on Flea-Bay) and install a flat bed. Problem solved, no bed rails anymore.... and you wind up with a custom rig.

This is an easy fix...
Let my wife load your camper. When it is said and done you'll need airbags.
You didn't mention hitch. I am running a B&W and it has multiple set up options. I am running a 15 Ram 2500 w bags, zero issues. Different trailer though.
Can you run a taller tire?
