Glad you’re more comfortable with your F-250 now. Everyone has a different tolerance for being at or over the GVWR. I wouldn’t be as concerned about it with a SuperDuty as I was with my F-150. With the F-150 I was 600# over GVWR and 200# over RGAWR with my family of 5 on board pulling a 7300# TT, so I upgraded to my 2016 F-250 gasser. Now, towing an 11,000# 5er, I’m well within specs and have more than adequate power (no mountains). In my model year SuperDuty, the F-350 SRW has a beefier rear axle and heavier duty leaf springs compared to the F-250. Not all model years and truck brands may be like that but you need to research it with the manufacturer to really know the difference between a 3/4 ton and the 1 ton SRW of the same year.
