I`ve noticed the other day a camper with the cams bolted on backwards . Never seen that before or even thought of that . Anyone every done this or seen such a set up. Just wondering if its more common than I think. Sorry no picture of it . Just picture in your head the cams bolted on backwards.
No the trailer was sitting in a yard near the road . The cams looked to be the same distance from the coupler . So the bar length would be the same . Just were the cams bolt to the tongue was closer to the body of the trailer . Like I said I never have seen such a deal.
The dealer installed mine backwards. There were numerous issues with their install, but when I started researching the backwards cam mount it was ok. It states in the owners manual that if there obstructions the mount can be reversed.
I had way more issues than that which led me to finally go with an Equalizer hitch though. Hope you have better luck with yours.
