Replacing Lippert Ground Control 3.0 motor

On the last day of our recent trip, the right rear stabilizer of my Lippert Ground Control 3.0 would not retract. After talking to a Lippert Tech and checking out fuses and the control panel, he told me that I likely had a failed motor on that leveler. He talked me through manually retracting the leveler so I could get on the road. Now I have to replace the motor on that leveler. I have it removed and will probably purchase a used motor since new ones are frightfully expensive (I looked into having this one rebuilt but no local motor repair shop will rebuild it). My questions are: 1. Does anyone have experience with this? 2. Does it matter if I purchase a left or right motor? 3. While there are different levelers rated at different weights, does that apply to the motor?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.
