If the scratch is deeper than the clear coat you can not buff it out. If a light scratch in the clear coat you can get advanced swirl removers and buff them out with a sponge pad.
A truck without scratches is a grocery getter. Scratches are like scars, they add character.
If you want to avoid further scratches, may I suggest removing that Bernie or Hillary bumper sticker? They seem to attract 'em.
I personally find that body shops are your best bet to remove scratches. There are even places that specialize in painting small areas and blending it all in to make it look perfect. I had this done to a new vehicle that came with a couple of deep gouges in the paint.
X's 2 I have tried them all. Then I went to Ford and got there touch up paint they ordered it from my vin # tried that and my god it looked worst then the scratch. Removed that with some lacquer remover and now just live with the scratches... not bad enough to take it the paint shop...
