Snap bracket replacement

Curious if any folks replace the snap up brackets on their Bar type hitch as a precaution? Mine are loosing metal due to the friction. Eventually I could see them snapping off. Manual says nothing about these being a Maint item. The hitch is husky centerline.

For these type to work 100% properly (NO,lube,plastic pads,ect.) Noise and Metal to Metal friction/wear is part of the package! Youroo!!
