Snap-on Mirror Extensions
Anyone have experience with these?

They vibrate a little. I've read where folks placed double sided tape behind mirrors and vibration went away. What tow vehicle do you have, I have a pair for 2004-2008 f150 you can have if you pay for shipping plus $10. I ended up installing the "f250" tow mirrors.

Hard to get adjusted I used them for 4 months then threw them in the shed out back. ordered and installed powered, heated, turn signalled and running lighted towing mirrors off E-Bay $109.00 each. Much better, these are made for my Tundra and replaced to originals that came on the truck.

I have an 07 Tundra and have used the CIPA mirror extensions with great success. Easy to install, stay in place with no vibration. About $30 apiece for a F-150 through Camping World if you're a member. Amazon probably carries them as well.

They'd work fine IF my factory mirrors weren't 'loose'. they can't be adjusted, so I just bought, and had a body shop install, new manual extension mirrors. I hate 'em, but I CAN see the trailer with them. I hate 'em when not pulling trailer, though.
I look like Dumbo the Elephant with 'em.
I can't wait for a new truck with electric in/out mirrors!!!

Have used then on several trucks, like others have said sometimes get some vibration in them but otherwise Ive not had any issues with them.

I've got the CIPAs on my 2009 Silverado. I've only used them twice, but they seem to work OK. They slide on, then have a screw-in thing to hold them on.

DH has a pair of 2011 F150 screw on type (large knob on back that tightens them to the existing mirror) that he used 3 times, total.
We now have an F250 2013 which comes with tow mirrors...electric in and out. I'm sure he'd be glad to unload the old ones.

We have a pair that we bought for our 2011 Silverado and liked them so much that we bought the stock mirrors on our 2013 and just moved the snap on mirrors to the new truck. VERY LITTLE vibration, and they help tremendously seeing the trailer and everything approaching on either side when changing lanes.

X2 on my 2011 seirra. Had them on my last two trucks also no problems no vibrations. I like that on long lay overs i can take them off and not drive around with the big mirrors on. That is also why i went with stock mirrors on my truck

Used the cipa on my silverado and they work good then went to the factory style tow mirrors like the hd .

I use them on my 2013 tundra and they have been great. No vibration and i can see all the way behind me.

I also have the CIPA and don't like the small mirrors and can't really see that much more than the stock mirrors

After trying a couple different types that screw onto the top/bottom of the mirror frame, I finally settled on the suction cup type. After 2,000 miles, they've worked well. I mount them in the bottom-middle of the mirrors to reduce vibration... There's a little, but not near as bad as the others.

I bought these on Amazon: Fit System 3891 Deluxe Universal Clip-on Trailer Towing Mirror
Have been using them all year, no vibration and they don't come lose. The straps seem very sturdy.
