Honestly 4 LOW wasn't going to do you any more good than 4 HI would have. 4 LOW is designed for pulling as it re gears to a very low gear to aid in this... IE pulling out tree stumps... 4 HI will engage the front axle and that's all you would have really needed...


Just saying... A lot of people don't really understand the difference... Sorry if you did/do and I said this anyways

Yep, I do know better. I was driving on a soft wet lawn and didn't want to spin the tires. My logic was slower = more torque but more control. I have used it a few times getting the TT into tough spots.

That said, I have also been able to shift out of 4LO in park the last dozen times I used it. Just got a bit concerned when it decided to be a bit catchy right after it was worked on and right before a trip.

Now let's move along
