sway
Sway problems, 2018 F150 3.5L max tow, supercrew -12000 tow capacity. Fastway 2 weight distribution 10,000 lbs hitch. FRiver Surveyor 251RKS 2017 trailer -6000 dry weight. Trailer sways at 55 to 65 mph. If their is any wind, trailer sways more. Makes for an unsafe ride.
Dealer has tried adjusting hitch several times, sway continues. Not sure if they know what their doing. First time I pulled trailer the truck was angled up, headlights blinded others. Trailer and truck are now level. 7 washers on hitch. It is almost impossible to take the bars off at a campsite.
Talked to another RV Dealer about a second opinion and they only service what they sell.
Is my truck and the Fast 2 hitch capable of handling this trailer or is the set screwed up?
Looking for a solution.

I think your hitch install and adjustments are probably your issue however I'm not familiar with that brand of hitch. Take your trailer hitched up to a trailer repair shop, not an RV dealer. You could also have an axle alignment issue with the trailer although not as likely. That hitch is pretty low budget from what I've seen online at $300 so don't be surprised if a good trailer repair tells you to upgrade the hitch and sway control.

Brother in Law had trouble when he got his Jayco with rear kitchen. Those trailers a heavy in the back and they packed even more back there. I had him try and move more weight to his front storage and front bed room and that took care of his sway problem. Try that before spending $1000's of dollars on other WDH's first. IMHO.

Something's not right. I have that hitch and it's great.
What are your measurements from both unloaded and loaded (front and rear) from.the ground to the middle of the fender?

We are pulling the same trailer same year with a 2018 F-150 crew, 4wd. We have a husky ts and have zero sway , easy to remove bars ( even without tool using front jack). 2 years of easy towing. Actual hitch weight is 825, scale weight 5880

A-truck uncoupled front fender is 36.5", B-coupled/no bars 37.25", C coupled with bars 36"

Do you have a Pic hitched up and level? If your tongue weight is good, and sway bars are that tight, it sounds like you may not be level and are getting aero under your camper.

You have plenty of truck. Those Fastway 2 hitches are junk. I had one and replaced it with a Hensley . No more sway

Trailer standing level uncoupled, 30" front and 30" rear, The surveyor's A frame that leads to the hitch coupler is angled up several degrees, as the bubble leveler shows me, so the whole leveling thing is guess work... if i level the A frame the back is 30 inches and the front is 32 inches

Sounds like you're nose-high. That'll do it.
Can you drop the hitch down a hole or two? You may need to purchase an extended shank.

I have a similar setup as you. 2017 Silverado crew cab 6.5' box with tow package. 2018 Rockwood 2304KS side slide kitchen, fast-way WDH. I have 850# of tongue weight and about 5500# trailer weight.
I have "ZERO" sway, and I mean "ZERO"! The fast-way hitch is a great hitch. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
I came back from a trip last fall in a very bad side wind condition. The trailer handled better than many of the cars and trucks on the road with me.
You're just not set up properly. There are several good YouTube videos, etrailer videos and fast-way videos available that will allow you to set up your hitch properly.
It's time consuming and must be done right.
Weight distribution is very important. You should be between 10 and 15% of gross loaded weight on the tongue. Half full rear holding tanks are also something to watch out for.
Don't let someone talk you into an expensive hitch when you already have one that works properly when set right.

Dont forget you can turn the head of the jack so u can drop the tailgate if its hitting
