If by "outperformed " you mean won the "race", I agree.

My point was, having a truck with significantly more payload and towing capacity are more important than 10 seconds.

No sir, it looks like the Chevy was quickest to the top, and outbraked the Dodge and Ford on the way down. Definitely would like to see a test when Chevy increases their max capacity. Stands to reason that if the Chevy out everythinged the Ford and Dodge while they were way under max capacity, they would suffer even more under a capacity load. Not very scientific, just an observation

No sir what?

The Ford and Ram had significantly more payload and towing capacity. What I am saying is, I don't care if the Chevy was 10 or 15 seconds faster in a 10 minute race.

Being faster doesn't matter (to me) if you can't carry the load.

The fact that they all pulled the same trailer was helpful for an apples-to-apples comparison, however the fact remains that the Chevy can't carry or pull as much... and that wasn't a factor in their test.

Yes, the Chevy would probably win the "race" by even more if all three trucks were loaded to their maximum payload and towing capacities... but so what, really?

It was a statistical tie, folks! That little bit of difference is immaterial and likely attributed to driver error, inconsistencies, or who know? Maybe they had to slow a bit for a car or something. Tail wind? Lack of head wind? They had to estimate the stop on one because the light turned red.

There was no difference.

However, the Ford and Dodge should've had a huge advantage, considering they both claim to be able to haul 7,000 more pounds than the puny Chevy. So maybe it wasnt a tie

Being able to tow and carry more does not in any way imply they will be faster in a race.

The advantage is being able to tow and carry more... that doesn't mean they will be faster.

Traded in my 2011 Chevy CC 2500HD diesel, and got a new 2017 Chevy CC 3500HD SRW diesel a month ago to haul my 2013 Polomino Sabre 34REQS 5th wheel.
