The B&W RVK3500 Companion

I ended up with a different truck (Ram 2500) in the garage that came setup with a B&W turnover ball which puts me on the search for a companion hitch for it. I've noticed the old companion (RVK 3000)had height settings for 14.75 to 16.75. The new model (RVK 3500) is setup for 16.25 to 18.25. Is this a big deal? I'm a little worried as this pickup should be sitting higher than my Ram 1500 which with a little air in the bags pulled the 5er pretty level. I'm wondering if I should be looking for a RVK3000 with lower heights.

b/w 3500 slider

I just changed a 3000 for the 3500 slider its about 120 lbs more weight and sits about 1.5 inches higher at the lowest setting. I moved my 1621hd pin box up one set of holes and now sit the same as with the 3000. also set the support arms in the forward location as the back location is behind the axle and bucks more and clearance is not and issue with the slider.
